Our diverse array of » machinery makes us an efficient and very flexible company which can always respond to individual requirements. A customer base which has been firmly established for many years confirms this.

The field of stainless steel processing in particular has steadily expanded in the last few years. Our main field of activity here is the food industry, where steel known to be rust-free and hygienically safe is used. The main components we make from this material are product feeds for loose bulk materials (e.g. conveyor belts and vibration conveyors) and machines for separating foodstuffs which have become stuck together (e.g. declumping machines declumping machines). We also provide our customers with a variety of other products and services regarding stainless steel.

Our roots are in this company’s second main activity – in classic steel construction certified according to DIN EN 1090-2 to EXC3 and DIN EN ISO 3834-2. From constructing and welding a platform and machining complex workpieces through to edging 100 mm thick sheets of metal – our metal processing options are extremely varied and tailored to the customer’s requirements.

History

Maderthoner Maschinenbau GmbH was founded as a family company in an apple barn in Neuendorf/Schleswig-Holstein in 1979. They began producing components for shipping and vehicle construction early on. The free fall systems on ships in particular were in focus. But small windmills and filter presses, which belong to special machine construction, were also common products.

As the company steadily expanded over the years and the array of machinery also grew, a lack of space meant the company had to move to a different location. Since 1992, the company with the expanded production area has been located in Dägeling in the district of Steinburg. The extra space meant that large format parts could be produced without any problems. Another result was continuous development from a technical and HR perspective.

Today, the production focus for Maderthoner Maschinenbau GmbH is in stainless steel processing (mainly for the food industry), as well as in general steel construction.
